Are you as sick of "the moment of truth" on fox as I am? I'm sick of the commercials specifically, I don't watch the show. I'm sick of the host or announcer saying that marriages are being destroyed or that people have nervous breakdowns. I'm sick of people who are willing to put it all at risk for some money. I wouldn't do it and trust me, I'm poorer than some of them have ever been. I'm sick of these people, sitting in that chair, on that stage racked with guilt or fear looking as if they appear to completely forget the fact that this is an "at will" show. They can stop. No one is forcing them and their decision to proceed otherwise is making them to look like shallow, greedy, opportunistic fools.
It's probably a ratings winner, eh?
You know what? I kind of feared this, but instead I liked it. It has potential. Mind you, you may have to check the brain at the door for some of the story but seeing all the other original content on tv. It's absolutely forgivable.
I wouldn't really mind subbing this show in for Terminator 3 and probably Terminator 4. I wouldn't mind forgetting they ever happened or will happen. Though, T4 might not be bad. I don't know.
Still, This is a new show. It might hold my interest for a few shows and I might forget about it. Doubtful though. Summer Glau is awesome.
I liked the series finale... Anyone else see it?
I took a shot and watched Riches tonight on FX. Anyone else? It made me feel uneasy, yet intrigued.
If you haven't seen or heard of it, here's a short, review with slight spoilers.
If you really have to know more, this NY Times reviews gives more information, about 2 or 3 episodes worth and the first just aired tonight. I could shiv them for dropping so much, but it's my fault for reading it.
Can we find and beat those responsible for dragging this dead horse of a lame joke on and giving it additional weekly 30 minutes?
I'm certain it'll be a huge hit.
