I didn't get this on sale. I just really wanted to see it so I went to blockbuster and bought it. I wanted to feel scared and for a while I did.
Rather than feel scared, nearing the end, I just felt tense and at the end I'll say this much: I have seen the ending before. Perhaps this is a "straight from the comics" adaption and if it was, I will be able to accept it more than someone just wanting to end it the way they did.
I won't spoil it for you, but if anyone comments, I can't guarantee there won't be spoilers.
Over all, I liked it. Maybe ***1/2 stars out of 5?
ALSO: It weirded me out to be watching it while the weather outside looked just like the weather in the movie. I was at my sister's dog sitting and she's got a nice large set of French doors. I kept eying them nervously though parts of the movie. O_o
