What compliment are you most often given?
At work I am often referred to as a valued asset. My former manager referred to me as very conscientious. People tell me I'm smart... With the way things are going in my life, I don't feel I've been very smart.
]]>I woke up feeling like i should just stay in bed. I didn't feel bad, it just felt great. I felt like rested really well and I felt like I could have slept more. Being it was 11am, I figured my sleeping should be done.
I went to the mall and bought Super Mario Galaxy. It's quite an awesome game.
Later that day, I bumped into a friend I've known for a very long time. We're not close, we don't really know that much about each other, but we've always taken a few minutes to have a short conversation. He's a nice guy, does a lot of back breaking work clearing out old houses, construction, and hauling off the stuff people leave behind. He told me he was in a head on collision and it destroyed his truck, which is how he makes his money. He had back, spine and head injuries and was in the hospital for a while. He said that the guy was going too fast and lost control of his car. The other guy's insurance did cover his truck, but not enough to get him a new one. The guy's insurance or lawyers made some comments that due to his livelihood, getting compensated wouldn't happen. He said he didn't want to sue to break the guy, but to get what he's missed... So I gave him some tips I thought he might be able to work on to prove what constitutes a weekly check for him. After we said our goodbyes, he almost got hit by a car because he wasn't looking where he was going. I yelled out "WATCH OUT!" luckily he caught on before it was too late. I had to sit in my car for a few extra seconds before leaving. I'm glad he's okay.
I'm eager to get to work tomorrow. I'm ready to get this over with.

What a retarded question. When does the "Your friend has pissed you off beyond belief, fucked your bf/gf, and broke your favorite mug.... How many times do you stab them?" QotD come up? Let me know, I'll take the day off.
Seriously. I'm a pretty careful driver and if I borrowed someones car, I intend it will be driven back to them intact with whatever gas I used replaced. If by some circumstance, I did some damage to their car and I was at fault, I'd pay the deductible. I probably would either way, I'm a pretty decent guy. Thing is, I have my own car and even when people offer me theirs when they're parked in back of my, I insist on using my own. Then I don't have to worry about it.
How many push-ups can you do?
I don't do push ups. I never liked them. Floors are dirty. I'm more of a sit-ups guy and when I was 'fitter' I'd do well over 100 a day.
When was the last time you surprised someone else?
Every day. So many times. It usually is "no, they really can't be that lame, can they?" and then after reading it I shrug and say to myself "uhyyyup, they can be!"
A big surpise came when I was motoring down a busy street. Some stupid fuck decided they needed to bolt accross the street without looking where they were bolting. I made a point to steer quickly and speed up to keep them from being *infront* and under the car and proceeded to scream at them while driving by. I scream "watch what you're going LADY!" I'm serious... Just fucking up and bolted across a busy street without looking. Freakin methhead.
When was the last time you surprised yourself?
Every day I surprise my self. Each day I complete 8 hours where I work I feel happy and surprised. It isn't terrible, it's just work... Insane, confusing, frustrating, seemingly never ending and redundant work. Sometimes it feels never ending and when it does and I managed to get through it, I'm surprised.

It's funny that you've whittled my funds down to $20. This thought provoking QotD just might be the case with me soon. By narrowing my choices down with specification on these purchases, you're making me "think" of what I would need to buy to satiate the request rather than capture what I'd really do with that money. Of course, the answer to that would be to survive. I don't see a stipulation on others supporting me after this or it being the last $20 I spend before I'm a blood smear on the windshield of some midlife crisis mobile. Yeah, we'll go with that scenario. Fuck this survival bull grizzle.
Practical: lint roller. I have pets and I usually sport their hair with me where ever I go. $4
