I bought a going away cake for our office's receptionist.  It irked me that no one else had.

I helped my sister get things for my other sisters birthday.  I bought another cake, a $20 gourmet chocolate mousse cake with the most amazing chocolate ... icing (it was pure, rich, decadent chocolate with chocolate jimmies around it.  No one could refuse it and no one left without the guilt of having consumed possibly the most delicious, yet fattening slice of heaven ever.  I was also her designated driver, so she got to enjoy some (if you call 1/2 a bottle some...) champagne.

Even though I am exhausted and might have been able to get some sleep tonight... I'm so damned proud I managed to make people happy.  People who deserved it.

Gunderson Bee told me I looked like someone.  She was the first who told me and for some reason I can't remember his name.

In the past, I was told I looked like Bud Bundy.  I think I look like me.

I once had a cat I named 'lil bits', my family thought I had picked up some foul language and that it was short for "lil bitch".  I distinctly remember holding up my thumb and pointer... Raising it to my eye, pinching so there was very little space to see though and I said "no... lil bits!"

My sisters didn't like lil bits.  They freed her from out house sometime while we were in camp and I never saw her again.  I'd like to believe that some kindly older woman or family found and kept lil bits as theirs.

I still use the phrase and gesture 'lil bits' but on rare occasion.  There aren't many occasions to use it!

Who is the cheapest person you know?  (Not frugal... just annoyingly cheap!)

Hmmm.  No names nor bonds will be mentioned but I suspect it's common.

I'm annoyed with that person in the couple or marriage that requires their spouse to ask/beg/plead when it comes to going out or pitching in or doing something.  Let's state, this isn't "I'm just letting x know what up", it's I can't my significant other won't let me.  In these situation, the person asking earns a lion's share of the income and any such expenditure really isn't significant at all... It has to do with control more than it does being budget conscious.

Also, I can't remember who... But I remember someone barking at be because I left a nice tip for the busperson at a buffet.  They busted their ass, they get paid shit, the work sucks and as far as I'm concerned it's money well placed.

Finally, I give myself the worst time with money. Specifically when shopping for clothes and food.  Rules go out the door with friends and family though.  I love treating my loved ones.

I ran outdoor track and cross country for 2 short years.

In college, I participated in our Tae Kwon Do chapter.

These days... I'm so bored.  I need something.  There's a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu organization(???) that's invited me to check it out and it seems tempting.  Now that I've read about it, I may pass.  I'm not a fan of close contact or choking. :p

Perhaps I'll join a gym and just cardio my way back into TKD.

Now that a few weeks have gone by, I feel more comfortable driving. I'm even beginning to enjoy it.  Some of the things I've begun to acclimate to are things none of us should in a perfect world...  Like being passed on the drivers side by a SUV speeding well above the speed limit of a residential zone to hit each stop sign at red light before I did. People who think yield is an option so long as you gun it up fast enough to cut off the driver in the right of way.  All of that fun stuff...  I knew was possible and each time, I happy that I'm not a tailgater and I wasn't freaked out by it.  When I made MY mistakes, I'm happy to say that I've taken away things I needed to know and perhaps things everyone needs to experience on their own.  In driving from point a to b, I commit to my directional mistakes -- so long as I'm not going to make the wrong turn onto a one way street.  I figure each mistakes gives me a chance to discover a new route, a new scenic route at that.  While I was learning the fun behind lane changing, I learned to shelve thinking about it.  All that's important is focusing on the road and traffic.  I wave a sorry if I could.

Now, this all sounds fine... Well, today I was presented with a unique situation.  On the way out of the mall, one of the other drivers in the lot I was in decided to be a gigantic douche by revving his engine.  By flying down aisles and screeching around corners and peeling out.  Now, this is a mall.  This is where some people's ones attention isn't on whether or not it's alright to cross.  Where occasionally, a child may wrestle their hand free from a guardian to have a spur of the moment race or to meet someone on the other side.  Where it pays to take a minute and scan carefully.  The guy with the souped up sports coupe, who was most likely playing Vin Diesel for his cupcake, had raced his little heart out around this crammed parking lot to end up behind *ME*.  I thought about his actions.  I got pissed.  Consequently, he ended up behind someone who decided to creep the rest of his way out of the fucking parking lot... Must have been pretty frustrating for him eh?  Well, I just hope he was able to get the hint I so subtly dropped for him.

I know, he could have gone around or he could have developed a major case of road rage... I just felt compelled to try to keep him from hurting or possibly killing someone -- all because he had to show off.

Now, I won't be doing this again and I don't/didn't plan on ever pulling stunts... But this just felt right.
