Do you like surprises?
Hahaha... This is a loaded question. WHHHHY? I didn't do it, it's not mine, I don't even know her! heh.
No seriously. Growing up, I love surprises because being a kid, there are not may negative surprises. Even when I'd come home to some sort of 'surprise' cooked from loeftovers growing up... It was never bad enough to shy away from the word. These days, I find that a lot of people truly abuse the word 'surprise'. There are the surprises that your bosses give you. The surprises that you really don't know what the hell to do with, that'll collect dust and take up space. The surprise that your puppy, who was said to be too young to be impregnanted, is about to pop out a litter of 8 cute, fuzzy, multibreed puppermutts. The surprises bills and ads offer that come with the stipulation that you spend $50 to $100s to collect. Or, as first mentioned, the surprise of all surprises. Luckily, I haven't been on the receiving end of these, but I've had a friend or two who were. Sure, sometimes, it can genuinely be a surprise. It can make or break a relationship. But in those one, maybe two instances that I'm thinking of, it was really a last resort scheme to buy time. Yes, people really do resort to some depths, don't they?
I think the sister closest to my age has pulled some of the greatest surprises I've ever gotten. My other sisters have surprised me with simple yet much appreciated things... My friends have come through also. So, I like surprises...Sometimes.

What's the last thing you usually do or think about before you fall asleep?
The last thing I do before falling asleep? Brush my teeth. In bed? I position my pillow so that it's *just right* under my head... I think about my feet. I can't sleep with cold feet, so if they're cold, I hope out of bed and run some warm or hot water over them... Other things I think about is what happened, what might happen tomorrow. Boring, eh?
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?

from the big 3: Medium when it comes back, earl, desperate housewives, greys anatomy, greatest race...
On cable: Battlestar gallactica, dirty jobs, deadliest catch... random other crap.
Out of boredom and for laughs I watch wifeswap and that nanny show.
Is there a friend who you owe a phonecall or email? What's stopping you?
There are a couple I think... None of them on here, afaik. So... What's stopping me? The awkward silence.
When there's nothing really going on in your life, with some people it's really hard to carry on a conversation. Even when I'm all thrilled and excited about their lives and accomplishments, I know that eventually the focus will shift on me and as usual, I'm truthful and to the point. When I say "nothing is going on" people know I mean it. They don't know what to say and when they try it makes me feel uncomfortable. Firstly, I don't ask for career advice. Second, thanks to the first highlighted problem, I'm not interested in dating. Finally, I love ya, I really do but save your Dr. Phil moment for someone who asks for it :). I didn't mean for that last part to sound mean, I just feel that I'm not given the sense to have thought of these things myself.
That cuts the list down quite a bit. There's a few people I could get in touch with who know better then to spring that on me, still I could just sense awkwardness. It's tought ot talk to people when you don't have much to say.
Ooh... Depressing post. Anyone got a happy pill?
Dove chocolate... How can it BE SO GOOD!
I miss my friends very very much. One friend wants me to crash her sisters wedding. It really does sound fun!
I shouldn't drink. I should give my bottle of Yukon Jack away to some charity!!! I threw back 7 shots tonight just for the 'warm n fuzzy' feeling. I hope I learn a lesson tomorrow and get a 'ouch and headache-y' feeling.
I should have cleaned stuff up this week.
I should have had my resume polished this week.
Got some new cds...
I got to see Feast... (I hope this is the trailer)
I RMA'd various computer parts and I hope they find where the problem lies.
And now I'm going to bed.

Response: Would you like my checking account number and routing number while I'm at it? Lets just make it easier and I'll also include a scan of my fingerprint! Wait... Did I give you my SSN already?! DUH.
What movie can you quote by heart?

I'm not the type of guy that shelves movie lines up in my head. I try to reserve the grey matter for real life stuff. Though I have seen Kill Bill a bunch and parts of that kick around in my head. I like aliens a lot, seen it a lot, but I can't pull more than little bits out of my head. I have a bunch of Futurama and family guy stuck in my head... My favorite lines being:
Fry: Hey, I know that monkey, his name's donkey!
prof: Monkies aren't donkies, quit messing with my head!
That there you have it. Now back to my shot glass.
