The one thing that bugs me as of late about Vox

[this is good]
Saw your feedback and wanted to read your vent. I totally agree: designs are way too pretty. And all the dark backgrounds that I like have a damned Nokia phone on them. And I expect the framed control line to vanish in the future or alter to something less obnoxious because really, it is ugly as poop! Of course, now that I read your vent I am feeling less compelled to spew bile on my own vox. Hmm.
By all means, spew that bile. Sometimes it takes a concert of voices to hear and appreciate the chorus. Wow. Bile meets music metaphor. Kind of true though.

What I loved about Vox was that it had a flow. It was easy going. It gave it's users and readers the credit for having a brain by not having entry separating horizontal rules -- Title separation said it all. Also, we were given credit for knowing where out 'controls' were... Even if the links flopped form here to there and were bumped about, it's not as if we'd think to look anywhere outside fo the area they should reside with in -- it's entry! The control coloring and framing? goes back to disjointing a previous crafty and intelligent design -- it overcomplicates a simple process and if people need, well, make it an option, I don't.

I feel the same way on those Nokia color themes. You couldn't pay me to trade my LG for a Nokia -- My cell is an extension of my likes in design and functionality... ;)

BTW, your icon, I like it a-lot.
I do a few banners for various voxers in my neighborhood. I always ask for: 5 adjectives to describe one's personality, and a few examples of favorite banners.

If you can't find something you like, ALWAYS feel free to bug the designer folks in your vox neighborhood, including me. :)
