What are some things that are worth (and not worth) spending money on?

I like buying little presents for my fam and pets.
I like music. Makes me happy.
A nice haircut... It makes me feel lighter and clean.
I don't like spending money on things that make me feel like I'm being gouged, like gas and pharmaceuticals. Sure, I may need these things, but if they were priced what they cost -- free of middlemen, inflation... I wouldn't feel disgusted and violated when I pay for 'em.
