Who taught you how to cook?

Mom. My mom did all of the cooking in our house. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with her and a good portion of that was spent cooking. I learned and helped measure. I rolled meatballs. I got the spices. These days, when I have the means, if I don't feel like following a recipe, I like to think up things to combine and cook.
