QotD: Call The Fashion Police

You must have been a fashion victim at least once in your life. What hideous blunder did you commit?

High school was a four year period of "I really wore that?" but I didn't care.  I generally don't care about what I wear so long as it's clean and I'm not showing what I don't want people to see.

I remember during my freshman being razzed for some pullover I wore by some other guys... They said it was a kids pullover.  I said that I didn't dress to impress them and I didn't care.

During senior year, I got my first job and bought a pair of sneakers "I liked" because they didn't look like anyone elses. Two other guys got on my case because I bought them from Payless.  I said "yeah, I BOUGHT THEM from payless.... Where'd your mommy buy yours?" They didn't find their joke so funny after I said that.  So, I don't really feel like a fashion victim, I feel liberated.  I mean, these days I don't feel as if I dress in such a way I stand out to anyone, but if I did, it's not me with the problem!
