Not just any Rice Pudding.
I made "old fashioned" rice pudding, which usually takes 2 quarts of milk. I did use most of that milk, but I decided to steep 2 bags of celestial seasonings sweet coconut chai in a little more than a half cup of water. Then I steeped 2 more in another 1/2 cup and substituted that for 1 1/4 of milk. I added heavy cream to make up for the loss of 'milk fat' loss of adding the chai. So far, it smells pretty good. I have to let it chill overnight before eating it.
I've been obsessing about rice pudding for a week now. While I was drinking a Chai from borders I thought to myself that it might be interesting to merge the two.
