Got Snow?
Here's a few shots of the snow we've been left with after the storm and a few days of lake effect. I live to the right of this dead end sign and as you may guess, shoveling out of this mess has always been a great work out (it gets pretty packed and heavy by the time it's shoved in front of us).
In the next shot, my sister lives on this street, her house isn't pictured, but as you can see... there's only a little less shoveling when you don't live on a dead end; nevertheless, it doesn't make it much easier.
This coming week, we're expected to get two days of weather in the high thirties. This should shrink these embankments just a wee bit!
Just about the only people who really appreciated all of this are the kids, who've had two to three snow days because of it all... This coming week is their winter break! Lil lucky buggers.
