Complacency with simplicity...
I envy those of you who want simplicity...
Who live, work, and marinate in all that is simplicity...
I'm not -me- unless I'm kicking shit up a notch, it's what I do.
The stress is worse. The self expectations are worse than those of others.
Made a friend a site. It wasn't the greatest, but I thought it was neat... in a thematic way... relevant to the reason it was created.
He wants a simple, plain, easy css/xhtml site and blog. Which is good. Simple is good... It's one of those that I was supposed to have learned to appreciate and strive for -- as conflicting as it seems. I'm talking "All you need is a white page, black text, with standard links... available for everyone, forever...". Not that color was bad or shunned, but {-- all of this --} here.. a hell of a lot of work for the purpose of stuff I can do in a simpler fashion. Complexity isn't bad. Wanting it isn't bad. But complacency with simplicity? That's enviable!

The mea culpa of design ... you are designing for a specific audience. Never forget this. :)
here it is... "This Road"
Don't tease me! I hand coded this bugger and it's a prototype! :D
Me? I'm totally into WYSWYG, 'cause I'm lazy.
I'm so lazy, all I've done so far is one page. A table. An image. that's it.
and my audience is myself. ;) For now.
many others in my classes did wsywyg but in our major -- it sort fo defeated the purpose of 'the education' (information science).
I had some tableless sites up... old ones. the geocities site might have an old one. Tableless css is a pain in the ass :) These days .. I think the tables issues are no longer issues.... so boo yay!
